Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Now that comment does surprise me😀. Obviously he's an exciting talent but surely it's fair comment to question the standard of bowling or,more specifically, the ridiculous imbalance between batting and bowling when a comparative novice can attain such a rapid scoring rate for a lengthy period.
Admittedly, many enjoy it but how can it be a contest of skill with such a disparity between bat and ball?

I know what you mean

Tbh I wouldn’t even say to question the standard of the bowling, just that always read about big score after big score in t20, almost every game don’t even know what it means

Nobody's denying that he should be commended.. Mind whether he remains of school age is questionable. As is what is school age in his homeland. It's the fact that he can acquire riches at such a young age that concerns me- and I'd apply that in any profession. That's why one shouldn't become euphoric in such situations imo.
That’s fair enough but a different discussion altogether

Don’t think I’d ever lasted 36 balls in an innings at 14 year old.
Amazing
If it makes you feel any better, I still have a plaque my schools cricket coach made for me when I was about that age.

I was a semi-decent fast bowler, and the worlds worst batter. He immortalised my batting stats from that year on a plaque.

Innings Played - 14
Balls Faced - 27
Runs Scored - 1
Batting Average - 0.07

Aye there’s no way he’s 14. I could have maybe believed it when he played in the IPL last year if he was just turning 15, but if his age is to be believed he would’ve been something like 14 years and 40 days smashing a hundred against international bowlers!

Even if he is 16/17 or whatever he’s still an absolute freak of nature but nah no way can he be 14.

However old he is, we are watching the emergence of a batting freak here. I think he’s going to takeover the game. If - and big if - he can handle the immense pressure and adulation of being an Indian Bradman type figure.
