Enzo Le Fee

It would be interesting to see how he fared over 46 games in this league. (We won’t obviously see that). I think he’d struggle with the physical demands. Roma fans said he couldn’t cope with the physical aspect of Serie A

We've always had tiny players in all the years I've watched Sunderland. Would be interested to know how we rank in the division as the smallest team, bet we're right at the bottom :D

Imagine having Hjelde behind you....would rather have Browne at right back and Hume on the left if Cirkin breaks down. Hjelde is an abomination.
Funny that cos me n my son were watching yesterday and 2nd half Le Fee received the ball and first time laid it off for Hjelde to recieve it, in a very tight situation.....Hjelde may aswel have been on Mars.....He didn't read the return one bit... me and my lad turned to each other and started laughing, saying "Le Fee stuck on the left wing man with Leo Hjelde":lol:

I think he'd adjust and his quality would shine through, in the main. He's as good on the ball as anyone in the league.

Yer right. I noticed it on a stream in China. I thought Danny Collins was gonna shout for fucks sake man!!

Supposedly head and shoulders above this league.

Let’s be honest bar Boro he’s been as shite as anybody.

Injuries and playing out of position may not help, however even when he’s played in the middle he’s been anonymous.

Genuinely think he doesn’t want to be here.

See him driving over the Tyne bridge every morning and he looks sick as fuck.

I agree, although I think on the left we'll probably get great moments from him, I think in midfield he could probably be the driving force of the team.

I just want to see us play with more urgency as well though, if we limply go out of the playoffs slowly knocking the ball about I'll be sick.
We aren’t causing any problems for the opposition going forward. We’re just creating problems for ourselves. Why doesn’t RLB see that. We played some excellent progressive football early in the season. Why change it!

Not sure too many are debating his quality, it’s just been a disappointing outcome after all the excitement of him signing.
He's been injured for a big chunk of it. The rest of the team have been cruising on autopilot for the most part, and we've still be letting Patrick Roberts take set-pieces.

...how do you look when you are driving like mate?

Bar the game against Boro where he played against a over the hill Luke Ayling whose terribe hes been underwhelming for me. No doubt a decent player but the way some went on you would think we were signing a prime Hazard at the time.

Hes been pretty average a can see why a mid table Italian team binned him off and bar us was no other takers

Very tidy footballer, clearly has a lot of ability. Fitness and injuries haven't helped him.

But yes he's not been anywhere near as good as people make out - there's been suggestions when hes played left side he's in the wrong role and suggestions he should be here and there. Whilst he's had the odd cameo centrally he's generally got bogged down in the game and had little effect and when he's played deeper he generally pisses about and loses the ball dwelling on it for far too long, physically hes not up to speed for the deeeper role at all

Id absolutely like to see more of him and played instead of Rigg for an extended period in the central attacking midfield role on the right. But would people seriously be happy with us spending 20m on him if promoted?

He's looked hopeless in the middle.

he's shown flashes of intent where he's tried to release Isidor regularly, something Rigg or Jobe haven't managed for half a season. However he just gets bogged down and has limited effect. Clearly the physical side and the speed of the game is something he hasn't really got up to speed with yet. Hence his better moments have been coming in from wide areas.

On the few occasions he's played deeper he's lost the ball far too much or played us into trouble. He's a really talented player and I certainly wouldn't give up on him, but I also wouldn't pay the mooted fee for him.

Because everyone is sat back in their own half defending.

The ironic thing about Le Bris' counter attacking tactic is that we sit so deep that when we do break it's impossible to get enough bodies forward quickly enough.
Yeah, bimut honestly, when Roberts or Le Fee get the ball...the rest just stand and watch them, like they are watching from the stands.

Not seen the best of him due to the obvious reasons stated. Its been stop/start for him since the moment he put his foot in the door.

The gutless, negative tactics have all these lads looking like shadows of themselves.
