25k would be a pretty standard wage for a team like Ipswich and a player like clark who’s young and came from the championship. Not sure why it’s so unbelievable, maybe if he went on a free but they paid a decent amount.

He’s done a remarkable job but this season was impossible for them. Brutally exposed at the back so maybe he could have signed a few better defenders and a keeper.
I make it £155M and they amassed 38 points.
Ipswich might get 25 points if they're lucky.
He signed 2 keepers and 2 centre halfs for about £50M. They were all shite.

It is but 5 of the players they signed that season played at the weekend when they regained 3rd spot in the league.
They simply bought well unlike Ipswich who spunked over £100M on players who turned out to be shite.
