Well I may as well start this thread as Durham managed to end their run of defeats against Yorkshire. I can't comment too much on that game as I was at the Riverside for half of the first day and after that was only able to follow the scorecard and never saw another ball bowled.
Looking at going into this match the positive is Durham appear to have had the better of the draw. The negative is one possibly two of our seamers has broken down.
Worcestershire appear to be underpowered to compete week in week out with the other counties in this division so far this season so even with the injuries Durham must be positive and go for the win.
As far as the team goes the batting line up probably stays the same. The bowling attack is anyone's guess I think we probably can be confident that only Raine will definitely be in the Durham Xl. Also the comments from Campbell about another overseas pace bowler coming in sounded like they perhaps had that fixed up.
Anyway its been a slow start to the season but personally feel if the weather is kind and the wicket is decent this is a goid chance for a Durham win.
