Carlisle United

Away to Accrington today

The bottom two teams will be relegated to the National League. Morecambe will be relegated on Monday unless they win and Tranmere fail to win, while defeat for Carlisle would guarantee relegation for the Cumbrians if Tranmere win

Massive battle at the bottom today. If Carlisle can go and beat Accrington, they've got a proper chance of survival.

Proper easter egg-citement today!

If Carlisle win today, there's a 3 point gap to Accrington. Accrington's final 2 fixtures are against Walsall (4th) and Chesterfield (9th).

Carlisle's final 2 are Cheltenham (17th) and Salford (10th).

Tranmere are very much still in as well. They play Barrow away today, and then their final 2 are Crewe (11th) and Newport (18th).

Carlisle absolutely MUST win today.

All of Carlisle's games are now MUST win ones, they have to get out of the bottom 2 first and therefore hope the 3rd bottom team are catchable with their own results.

Pressure is on.

All three of Tranmere’s games are against teams with nothing to play for. Barrow are in reasonable form, however. Crewe, on the other hand, have fallen away from the playoff chase really badly.

Yeah, it's probably Accrington they need to catch. Accrington still have to play Chesterfield as well, and they're in great form and pushing for playoffs.

I don't know which sides (outside of relegation/play-offs pressure) have already switched off & gone on their hols - which adds to the mix.

That division seems to put the kiss of death on any team with the audacity to go top.
