Disney world Florida

It's about double that for character breakfast
We just have breakfast in the room now. Toast with a cheese slice and ham between them, or some cinnamon rolls.
Saves a fortune.
The other major money saver is an insulated water bottle and just fill it up with the free ice water, not the water fountains.

If I don’t meet Jackie and become her new husband I’ll be hugely disappointed.

We have those little squirty blackcurrant things to add to the water. Helps the bairns get plenty into them.
They need it.

Bbb at springs looks like it's open again.
Closed right now, not lights on and dresses in window etc

Also 2 pints at raglan road $39. Fml

There's no beer in the world I would be paying $20 for an undersized US pint for.
When I was in Florida in October I didn’t pay for a single beer. We had a Club room in the Hardrock Hotel at Universal for a week which included 2 hours on an evening with free food and drink in the Club lounge. I just filled my boots during this time and sneaked a few back to the room.

In Disney we had the quick service meal plan which included alcohol so I got a pint with each meal which turned out good value. You could also use a snack credit to get a beer if you so wished but I was happy with one per meal.

Mind you the staff are shit hot on control of alcohol. The staff at the bar wouldn’t let me take two beers unless my wife was with me, at one point the lady behind the bar insisted she bring them to my table instead. It took a military style operation to sneak a few beers back to the room so me and my 18 year old son could have one later on the night.

That must be new!! Back when I was last there I could get adult meals for the kids and then get a beer with those. I drank them though. 😂

They used to allow you to pick up two at a time.
I must’ve got the awkward ones then!! What pissed me off was the tip glass. We just tipped when we were done for the night but some people were putting $5 tips in for each beer. I mean what’s the point of that!? The drinks are free (because of the premium paid for the room) and she’s only taking the top off a bottle ffs!!!

I tend to tip bar staff in the states but I'm not sure if I would even think it doing it if they were free drinks.

Wasn't even a good pint of Guinness.
Cider was alright, but it's just mental pricing. Tax and tip really push prices into silly land.

Suppose I should tip at least a dollar for the free drinks in the hotel.
Never have any change though

Can’t remember last time I had cash in the states.

Was she attractive? I had a proper bit of eye candy in Miami at the clevelander. Tipped her well and she “paid” for our taxi to space and a flatbread to take with us.

In a dive bar once, I left about $15 on the bar (was sitting at the bar) and went to the toilet. The lass behind the bar thought it was a tip, which was fair enough really. Anyway, she must have bought us about £50 worth of beer that night. 😂
