Weather in south UK is largely the same as Paris. Euro Disney does well enough, I'm sure this will too. At least I hope so.Good for the country but the weather and temperatures in Britain will always go against it. Main reason I enjoy universal studios was atleast waiting around was nice in the sun and warm
Looks like my days of being Bedfordshire’s number one attraction are numbered![]()
There must be a joke about vans in thatImagine a twin resort, Bedford and Luton.
Great news for the UK. Pity its not been built in the North.
That's ridiculous Darlo lad. Its well south.Bedford is the north to some people!
Lots of thick people think Watford gap is where the north starts.Bedford is the north to some people! It's north of Watford.
I know several people from Derby who think they’re northerners.Bedford is the north to some people! It's north of Watford.
Technically it's only a few hundred meters away.Lots of thick people think Watford gap is where the north starts.
But they also think it's in Watford.
I have been to Euro Disney in the winter and it was miserable like, totally agree with the lad who said it makes a big difference. That said I hope this comes off and does well.Weather in south UK is largely the same as Paris. Euro Disney does well enough, I'm sure this will too. At least I hope so.

I don't know the train network well enough to comment accurately but they may well put direct trains to it from a number of destinations. Even if that takes 3-4 hours it's still do-able for a day trip, though an overnight is probably going to be needed given there's likely a lot to do there. Currently from Newcastle I think you generally have to go via London to get to Bedford which isn't great. If only HS2 was going to exist in the north east, it could drop us off on the doorstep in 2hours. Could get their for open and get us home after close without too much bother.
Pffff.
Where does it start from Andy?Technically it's only a few hundred meters away.
There's a much smaller town/village in Northamptonshire called Watford, which is right next to Watford Gap services.Where does it start from Andy?

So while there are currently no direct trains running from the north east on that route, there could be potentially.Bedford is on the Sheffield/Derby/Leicester to London line

Woburn Forest Centre Parcs is five miles away from the proposed site. You could visit there for a break and, when you fancy a cheap day of activities, go to the theme park.I don't know the train network well enough to comment accurately but they may well put direct trains to it from a number of destinations.
