Cracking partnership by Drissell and Raine here. George must have put some serious work into his batting i watched him bat for Sunderland a couple of years ago and he struggled to hit the ball of the square.

Think @GordonMuchallNo1Fan was at a 2nds game at Hartlepool last season when Drizzler suddenly discovered he could hit a ball.

You know I've talked him up quite a lot lately and I'm ever so pleased he's got a chance. He was excellent in the 2nd xi game down at Hartlepool but he also batted well at Somerset in the 2nd innings last year. I'm also glad it seems Parkinson isn't an automatic choice as truth be told I've been disappointed in him. See how he goes but I think he's earned an opportunity
