Doesn’t matter what the squad is worth if we’re not successful does it?Aye we sit 4th with a squad of young talent worth near 100 million
Others coming through the under 21s -in fact 17 year olds paying up three years
Nightmare times at safc !
Think I will bail out after 60 plus years of supporting the heroes
Never had it so bad
He’s not for about the 1000th timeDidn’t realise Harte was his agent the leach. We should stay away from his lot in future
I thought you said the money wouldn't be reinvested? If the owner isn't taking money out then is it not all being reinvested.I never said he is taking money out of the club (yet)…the club is making a loss and he has taken out a loan facility secured against the stadium to cover it, rather than converting debt to equity (which he is allowed to do)
Maybe. It’s a good deal for the club
And we don’t care about success on the field and that return will help us succeed? Not sure what the club are supposed to do if the player is not willing to extend their contract? The club is a business at the end of the day and players are commodities. Why let him leave as a free agent? The club have invested in the lad and now will get a return on their investment. Makes perfect sense
Training with them only. Shouldn't be taking the place of any youngsters in the 21s who actually want to play for the clubNo way he can be selected now
Stick him in the reserves
We are at a stage of risking 1 to 3 million on youngsters hopefully making it for a profit down the line. Brighton are a t a stage of risking 10 million on a young player making it and making them a profit down the line in the same way when they sell players for big sums to Chelsea like they haveIt’s a good deal for the club
Don’t bother, he/she is a wind-up merchant and doesn’t even go to our matchesNow you're simply just making things up we've spent the majority of the 25 million we got from stewart and clarke
Stewart - goneOccasionally? We’ve flogged out best player the last 3 seasons now a lad on the up.
I really cant see us getting promotion under this regime at all.
It’s paying for his ownership while the value of his asset increases and he invests nothing whatsoeverI thought you said the money wouldn't be reinvested? If the owner isn't taking money out then is it not all being reinvested.
Not an intelligent reply. Is that an indication of your IQ? Or tell me which part of my comment you don’t agree with. That's you're talking out your arse
We've lost about £17M over the past 2 sets of accounts! Hardly any team makes money in the Championship.By getting some desperately needed cash? There's been talk of getting loans etc. So it seems to me they thought it may as well go through now. Our owners don't seem to want to put more of their own money it at the moment.
Maybe.
Just don’t understand why he’s so desperate to leave?
They're paying £10 Million for him.Not a chance mate. Hes 18 and only played 20 games. He will be on less than 10k a week and probably closer to £5k.
No me either right now. Can understand that a big signing on fee is life changing, but I’d imagine he could quite easily get a four year deal from us which would be equally as life changing.Maybe.
Just don’t understand why he’s so desperate to leave?
The fact you think the club is in "a state" because we've sold a player who's hardly played and who doesn't want to play for us for 10 millionNot an intelligent reply. Is that an indication of your IQ? Or tell me which part of my comment you don’t agree with.
