Nee reviews for snow white yet? I have no interest like neither have the kids but I've seen it's got the most bizarre ratings in IMDB, 1.6/10 but that's because theres loads of 1s and the obviously a lot less people are giving it 10/10
Think maybe they're genuine as have even seen the likes of the Guardian also giving it 1 star on multiple reviews, they deemed it "toe-curlingly terrible".

I'm almost tempted to take the bairn to see it just out of pure curiosity, but I'll almost certainly wait until it arrives on Disney+
I suspect many parents are thinking the same after the reviews (and quite a few prior to them as well!)

I decided to watch all the Marvels I haven't watched after giving up on most of them a few years ago as the multiverse crap was doing my head in...

Eternals [2021] 7/10

I liked a lot about this - mainly the fact it didn't look like a Marvel film (natural light/real locations). The script is a bit clunky at times, though.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever [2022] 2/10

Two hours, forty minutes of rambling, unfocused wank.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania [2023] 0/10

Utter, utter chod. CGI hell. Turned it off after 40 minutes. Not even my eternal love for Michelle can earn it a point.

The Marvels [2023] 4/10

Inoffensive but forgettable. Good chemistry between the leads.

Captain America: Brave New World [2025] 4/10

Love Harrison Ford but, again, maybe spend less on CGI and more on the script.

An Affair to Remember (1957) 8/10
Already familiar with this from Sleepless in Seattle, though I'd never actually seen it. Classic weepy. It's never fully explained how Cary Grant is still an eligible bachelor aged 53, or how his grandmother is only 16 years older than him.

Sisters (1972) 7/10
Hitchcockian thriller from Brian De Palma. Margot Kidder as separated Siamese twins suspected of murder. Bonkers story - but then that's true of many Hitchcock films.

In a Lonely Place (1950) 9/10
Very dark film noir. Bogart as an ex-soldier turned screenwriter suffering from PTSD. A hatcheck girl visits his apartment to pitch a possible film, leaves, is then found murdered by a roadside. Bogart is suspected. His bouts of temper seem to confirm his guilt.

You’re a braver man than me. Cannot abide anything post Endgame.

Nothing has come close to Winter Soldier though.

Can you watch winter soldier as a stand alone? Heard consistently that it’s mint, but I’d already given up on marvel by then. Can’t be arsed seeing loads of pointless nonsense just to get to the one good film…….

I reckon you’ve been slightly harsh on all of those except Eternals. That’s absolutely shit. Probably the worst Marvel production yet.

The two latter ant mans for me. awful. But I stopped watching any of them.
The autistic lad I did short break fostering for likes them so I’ve seen most. I think a few have been very good, Winter Soldier being one, some have been absolutely shite, Eternals being the nadir and a lot have been harmless tosh of varying degrees. I like the Guardians of the Galaxy films and the Thor stuff for amusement.

Winter Soldier is superb. It’s genuinely a favourite of mine. Nothing comes close.

I did love them, but the direction they went in post Civil war put me off.

Watched with very low expectations so I couldn’t be disappointed. Was ok but will never watch again. Post endgame, with a couple of exceptions , marvel/disney have totally lost their way.

It's particularly despicable how they treat the visual effects companies. Not to mention how they don't want to pay for writers or actors. It would be more entertaining if they just set $300m of cash on fire while punching themselves in the face
