Hope there is as much made about Brighton's journey if they win the more significant FA Cup......been homeless, in the lower leagues, had to play at an athletics stadium, and are now a well run club unaided by state ownership

Do Brighton have an equivalent Sky reporter to fanboy Keith
Very much doubt it do you 😂

I can’t my head around anyone would watch it with a connection to Sunlun?! Not only is it absolutely shite, there is nothing noteworthy or of any interest to people living in Wearside (or outside of Tyneside)

I’ve not watched it for years! Will also be giving BBC Radio mag a miss for the foreseeable.

Plenty of great Sunlun produced content without having to put up with the mag / Tyneside bias. Loads of great things/exciting developments happening in our own city (which I doubt actually get highlighted on there)

I've vowed never to watch it Ever again & I'll stick to my word, it just brings a bitter taste in my mouth similar to acid reflux that I can do without, when the Crown Works Development is in full swing it'll still come second news to Newcastle Falcons moving to a 8,000 arena

Was talking to my Boro mate today. He said no way did Boro get the coverage the Saudis are getting on BBC North Korea.

These ‘journalists’ really need to think on two points; what the Saudis did to one of their own and secondly two thirds of their listeners couldn’t give a flying fck about a blood stained cup.

The local bbc are nothing but the NE PR arm of a despot state.

I agree but we pay our licence fee and Sunderland and teeside should have fair coverage.

At least their radio station is honest in its name

I was wondering if that or any of the other great developments and investment in Sunlun were being highlighted or reported on with any interest on there?

If given the choice or not watching our away games I can’t get to on TV I wouldn’t bother.

The “local” BBC is effectively becoming Tyneside/and now in turn Saudi influenced state TV (given their investment in NUFC)

I’ve not seen or heard any of the local “journalists” or MPs question where the money is coming from in the investment in Newcastle or what used to be their football club.

I simply refuse to watch it. If the shoe was on the other foot I’ve no doubt more would be made of Saudi’s human-rights violations.

Simon Jordan has described their cup final win perfectly when he says there’s been a big overreaction to it and that it’s being made out to be more special than it is. What about the clubs that haven’t won a trophy or have gone even longer than they did.
The national media have been a joke on this ! Playing the local simpletons very well
