And then not play himProbably buy another centre mid
He was excellent for the few games he played before injury -looked like a young exciting prospect who would be great to watch develop and one who I looked forward to seeing each game ( bit like Clarkey ) .I was disappointed we couldn't get a deal done in January. His ratio of good: poor games is dismal, and he is nowhere near ready, and not on Mundle's level.
It ll keep his father in law happy i suppose...the one that thinks we are muppets
Bar a decent first 45 mins at Bramall Lane he hasn't shown yet that's he's ready for first team Championship football, needs another season to develop imo but Brighton know what they're doing.
Aye n that as well...He scored two goals against Stoke and won us the match a week after that.
And then not play him
If it's true, I'd say that it says more about the player than the club like!He is not going to be risking anything in the next few weeks with a multimillion pound contract on the table if true.
I know they are premier league and likely offering a very good contract but when a Sunderland lad wants to leave his boyhood club to better his career at Brighton it demonstrates the perceived lack of ambition at this club sadly.

He’s young , just back from his first lay off and will take a bit of time to refresh
Sounds like it won’t be with us if this is correct .
yeah but this particular father in law doesnt seem to like us...and will be in his ear about getting away all the time...he has historyHe is 18 yr oldwhy would an 18 yr old be making a decision to keep there “father in law” happy? I don’t think I was in a relationship long enough aged 18 to meet the parents, let alone take life changing advice from them.
Mundle is good as wellI didn't see many excellent performances at all tbh.
He was really good at Sheffield United, and truly outstanding against Stoke. I've not seen much else apart from that to justify the daft levels of hype around him and he isn't exactly giving the impression he wants to be here.
I'd far rather stick with Mundle tbh.
They’ve been in for him last summer and January.I have it on good authority that it’s deal done him heading to Brighton in the summer
I find that sad news
People laughing but you have a point hereWhey if they're all that good why aren't we top?!
No not really, nobody is loyal in football anymore apart from the fans and a tiny percentage of players and staffIs anyone else not that arsed?
Because it's nearly all potential at the minute. Brighton buying Watson is like us buying Aleksic or Mundle, just a level above.Whey if they're all that good why aren't we top?!
Nope he wasn’tLaugh all ya want but he was
He’ll be in the squad and on the bench, they rate him that highlyHe will be on loan to someone and then at best similar to Clarke at Ipswich
Good luck
We new he wasn’t staying going in to he’s last year of he’s contract. just like Cirkin & Neil all three will be gone in the summer specially if we don’t go upBecause it's nearly all potential at the minute. Brighton buying Watson is like us buying Aleksic or Mundle, just a level above.
To be seen. I don’t think he will start a premier league game next season and be used in the league cup or loaned outHe’ll be in the squad and on the bench, they rate him that highly
