Just looked again. Was it Mepham who came out with the ball and lost possession as my old eyes might be playing tricks. Anyhow that man.

Well the wide player wasn't offside and the player in the middle was square. I honestly have no idea what happened? Someone on here suggested he was trying to mark up someone else further out!

All he have to do is keep running and try to get inbetween the 2 unmarked players. I'm not saying he would have stopped the goal but he basically gave them the freedom for one unmarked player to cross to a player standing on his own.

True. Patterson attempt was ballet dancer esq. why couldn’t he see that player? I honestly think after the criticism of the last couple Of games he was coming for the first half ball no matter what.
