Poor all round. The challenges that let the Sheffield lad get away lacked aggression also. Too easy.

It was an excellent save that won us the points as he did at home to Norwich, Sheff U at Burnley etc. He is certainly out of form but costing us no more than some of the sitters we have missed in front of goal recently.

Patterson is getting nowhere near the abuse of those lot Hank. I'm not even sure it's deemed abuse. Perhaps for his weight yes. The rest of it is just people stating his obvious flaws, which are being exposed and exploited on a weekly basis now.

If the rest of the team was better, we'd probably be able to carry him and get promoted. You just have to look at Leeds to see that you don't neccessarily need a top keeper if you're banging them in at the other end.

So for me, although I don't think he's up to much, there are other priorities i.e. people who score goals. The better the outfield players, the less important the keeper is.

Dan Neil has to put himself in front of the wide player inbetween him and the lad in the middle. He doesn't. That player can now cross on the deck or if Patto leaves his line shoot at an unguarded net.

There's literally 2 unmarked players and Patto. He had no chance due to his defence making 2 errors in front of him.

He should have looked into his crystal ball and known which of the two players was going to be crossed to.
 
Haway man Patterson's positioning was f***ing abysmal and it's clear as day that was an error on his part. However Browne, and then Mepham, and Neil could've prevented it all in the first place. If Neil sticks with SW Patterson then our Patterson doesn't go for a wander in no man's land.

Sorry like but O Nien is in a position to challenge for that ball at the very least had it came that way.

If people disagree with you then they're always wrong and you just laugh at them. Really bizarre behaviour. People have different opinions

I'd love to know where people think Patto should stand?

The winger is unmarked. Patto has to come near post on his line. If he doesn't he would leave the goal unguarded.

The winger could have passed the ball square on the deck to the unmarked player in the middle. He crossed it high because I think he guessed Dan Neil would try to close him down (as he should have done).

Patto can't move until he crosses, the kid who heads it is 6 yards out. Apparently he should make up 6 yards in about half a second to challenge for the ball 😂

All Patto could have done was spread himself 'Peter Schmeical' style halfway between his line and the attacker. He would maybe block it once out of 10 if that. He got himself a bit lost.

It was a defensive fuck up. Not Patto's fault.

I think it was a collective fuck up. He should have stood his ground imo. He was caught in no man's land, simple as that really. But like I said that particular error followed errors from Browne, Mepham and Neil so should've been easily avoided.

O'Nien is marking up a player who is never going to get the ball. Dan Neil isn't marking up a player or closing down the crosser. He's just chosen for some bizzare reason to stop.

Apparently Patto should guess Dan Neil is going to stop and save the day despite there being 2 unmarked players.

They got quite a lot abuse too. The fans really want Patto to succeed, of course we do. A lot of us don't think he's that good though. Just opinions really. I think we should get another keeper in the summer.
