O'Nien was literally nowhere near him!!!
He was at fault for yesterday, and the previous goals I mentioned. He wasn't to blame for yesterday's goal for starters.
Mepham has given the ball away and totally took himself out of the game. Dan Neil is running back and should have tried to get inbetween 2 unmarked players. Bizarrely he stops and leaves them in 3 yards of space. Patto tries to spread himself if front of one the unmarked player inside the 6 yard box and gets it wrong. He basically had no chance, dropped in the shit by his defence.
The goal is about 2% the fault of Patto.
Individual mistakes,if thats the level of the bar god help us.Almost every single player gave the ball away time and time again.FWIW I dont think we will go up so problem solvedThe outcome of the game influences people's opinions on individual performances (I'm guilty of this too). We won last night so there isn't as much emphasis on mistakes. I think Patterson is a good championship keeper but as I've said before, we need a better keeper. Too many mistakes and in the Prem it would be even more costly.
Spot on Hank ,you forgot Herr HoffmanDon’t recall the same level of abuse Patterson is getting compared to the likes of
Camp
Steele
Burge
Ruiter
Now they were bloody awful
I knew there was someone else youSpot on Hank ,you forgot Herr Hoffman![]()
Camp, Steele, Ruiter, and to a lesser extent Burge, all got a healthy dose of criticism for being woeful.Don’t recall the same level of abuse Patterson is getting compared to the likes of

He's obviously discovered Uber Eats.Camp, Steele, Ruiter, and to a lesser extent Burge, all got a healthy dose of criticism for being woeful.
Most people are commenting on Patterson's blatant weaknesses to his game, and commenting on some pretty obvious weight gain.
It's not abuse Hank, just pointing out that for a big bloke, getting bigger every week, he doesn't cut out crosses. His kicking is terrible. Two major flaws.Don’t recall the same level of abuse Patterson is getting compared to the likes of
Camp
Steele
Burge
Ruiter
Now they were bloody awful

Not the best shot but here's Luke 'marking up' 5 yards off the man![]()
How does Patto guess that Dan Neil is going to inexplicably stop half a second earlier?Keith, what's going on? He's clearly with his man and if the Sheffield lad tries to hit the back post from that position then there's a good chance O'Nien gets to it first.
Patterson can clearly see a lad is unmarked in front of him because Neil has left him, and he must know O'Nien is covering the lad at the back.
He's got to assume the ball is going to hit the unmarked lad and let O'Nien deal with the alternative.
As I say though, shambolic all round. A good 5 of them all at fault.
How does Patto guess that Dan Neil is going to inexplicably stop half a second earlier?
Dan Neil has to put himself in front of the wide player inbetween him and the lad in the middle.
There's literally 2 unmarked players and Patto. He had no chance due to his defence making 2 errors in front of him.
You obviously didn’t knockabout with my circle of experts. As you say, some shockers there.Don’t recall the same level of abuse Patterson is getting compared to the likes of
Camp

Burge
Ruiter

There is!Half a second isn't right. Patterson should be aware a Sheffield lad is in front of him.
I don't know what he's doing, at least jump with the lad to make it awkward for him even if you don't fancy yourself to win the header.
There isn't. The photo you posted demonstrates that. O'Nien is with the lad at the back post.
There is!
The lad who crosses the ball is totally unmarked, he can cross on the deck or in the air. The lad in the middle is also totally unmarked.
Dan Neil stops.
It's a complete fuck up.
But it's all Patto's fault![]()
Dan Neil also dropped O'Nien in the shite. He moved towards the lad who scored then thought, oh Dan's going there so I'll cover the back stick. Then he stopped giving Luke no time to react.Ah right, I thought you were talking about the lad at the back post.
Definitely not all Patterson's fault. Shambles from the moment they tried to play out from the back. The lad should put it away whether Patterson moves out the way or not also.
Patterson got absolutely no protection there and that's the job of the back four and midfielders playing deeper.
We're talking about the keeper when really we're making a habit of giving the ball away cheaply and not being able to cope from there. That's the problem.
