We have honestly looked like the away side In recent home matches against Plymouth, Watford and Hull. 2 points out of 9 out of them games which has cost us automatics

That doesn't mean we are entitled or that we have an automatic right to win based on attendance. But that performance today was absolutely garbage. If I had a pound for every sideways or backwards pass today I would be a wealthy man.

Support has to be earned, give the fans something to be encouraged about. These players are paid amounts that most ordinary folk can't even dream of. Not saying they necessarily deserve to be booed off (I didn't) but I wouldn't criticise anyone that did.

Today was shocking beyond belief and I personally wouldn't slag anyone off for not singing today.

On the atmosphere these 12.30 kick offs have a lot to answer for aswell

Don’t get me wrong g the atmosphere at home was never great but it’s absolutely flat as a fart now with all these early kick offs

We are rarely ever involved in a good game that kicks off early either for some reason

Listen, we’ve had a good season, of course we have, and I’m not having a go at the team in general
But the fact is when we play football on the front foot the crowd gets behind the team and there’s s as n atmosphere, which is what the thread is about.

Atmosphere was diabolical again but these early kick offs certainly aren't helping. Embarrassing really that the only time our fans actually roused themselves all day was to sing about the mags. Maybe if we'd gotten behind the lads more with pro SAFC songs it might have made a difference.

Must admit we're seriously toying with the idea of chucking our season cards at the end of the season. Sick of these rubbish kick off times, and fast atmospheres that go with them. Will just pay game by game when its 3pm on a Saturday as it should be.
 
We don’t play exciting football to get the crowd going. It’s slow and mostly sideways or backwards.

And all im saying is it shouldnt be that way. Obviously Reg likes to play a certain way, which has been successful in the main.

Yes in the main it has, but 8 points in the last 6 games is not great form, in fact it puts us in 12th place in the form table, and apart from the Boro game we have looked far from convincing lately

The atmosphere at the sol has got worse since they moved the away fans and created the daft “singing end”. There’s always an excuse, the team need to give us something to cheer about, the team need to perform, blah, blah, blah. The only way the atmosphere is going to improve is put the away fans back to the south stand. We turn up in numbers at home, but a lot of the fans obsess over this. I’d rather have 10k there and the atmosphere be decent compared to any of the crowds over the last few years, it’s honestly embarrassing and would say on atmosphere wise we are the worst home fans in the championship

The singing section is nothing of the sort really. It's basically a couple of hundred up at the back trying to get things going but it always just fizzles out as there's not enough willing participants around them. Worst thing they ever done was shifting the away fans to create that as it's absolutely shite. The SWC was much smaller in area but you probably had around 75% of the occupants in there prepared to sing and shout back in its heyday.
