Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Nixon reporting Brighton now wanting a cut price deal in the summer in an article littered with bullshit as he mentioned Watson won’t get many minutes as we signed replacements in his position in Jan, when the exact reason he didn’t go is that we didn’t sign replacements.

Sure they will try there luck but as there will likely be other interest and we would still get compensation if he stayed another year, we aren’t going to let him walk out of the door on the cheap.

I hope he scores the goal to confirm promotion, someone throws a Brighton shirt at him and he mimics wiping his arse with it.

It’ll take 4 weeks

Why four weeks?

Surely he's fully fit and part of the lay off was conditioning, strengthening his hamstring and doing plenty of high speed work.

He's been playing football again for a couple of weeks now so will have his touch back and be used to playing football again.

The highest risk period of a hamstring reoccurring is in the two weeks after returning to training so I'd imagine that when the manager mentioned the intensity of the Leeds match he had that in mind.

Once he's ready to play though, I don't see how it will take four weeks to get back to where he was. Didn't the manager say in today's press conference that he's ready to play?

He'll be ready to 30mins, then 60, then 90 realistically 4 weeks to be 100% but should probably be involved Saturday and be contention for a start against Wednesday but will probably have to come off around 60/70

By Cardiff or Preston he should be able to do 90

Why? Why is he only ready to play half an hour? And then next match an hour?

i reckon he'll start saturday and do 60 and with Watson coming back wont play a 90.

last thing you want to is too much because then your bollocksed

That's fair enough.

But, I'm assuming that Mundle has gone through the process of higher-intensity exercise and getting his fitness levels back as part of the recovery process.

Not sure about Saturday but think he will have started by the Sheffield match.

If they've any doubts not worth the risk as he'll be ready soon enough and we'll need him flying for the play offs.

Just a hunch off Regis press conference , he seemed very definite he's sorted and as we've said the sooner Enzo gets in the middle the better .
