Boro thread

@seahamstar and @Teesside_Steve will acknowledge how bad they're doing. Think one of them did keep saying see where we are at the end of the season but think the gap is 18 points and that definitely isn't being overturned

I really do miss Boro_Fan though
Aye that was me.
Mainly cos some on here were crowing about your better start than us.
I was only trying to 'counter' that by pointing out that the two previous seasons you also had better starts than us (and with a bit of crowing), but finished below us.
Blatantly obvious that isn't gonna happen this season, and to be fair when you played us the other week it's the first time I've watched you properly this season and I was well impressed with the way you bossed us, looking so composed and mature also for such a young side.

As summaz said, I do still post on here (really good forum), but admittedly not so much lately - not through 'hiding' or anything, just doesn't seem much point saying much about Boro at the moment, and I also have quite a bit going on with other stuff too - football isn't everything (easy for me to say now 😜).
God only knows where Boro go from here.

Bullshit.

If we weren’t in with a chance of automatics and you were still being as shit as you are, you’d have been on here 10x more than you have recently. Like in similar seasons.

Not sure Carrick is your man, or is he ? Had a browse through your forum and there looks to be nobody impressed with Iheanacho, his body language appears shite. But when you sell you're only proper goalscorer and don't replace him, it spells trouble, we know that only took well from when we sold Stewart.

Not sure what to think of iheanacho to be honest, didn't particularly 'follow' his progress at City or Leicester and I wasn't there yesterday.
Seems a lot are moaning about him but maybe he just needs a bit of time (which we don't have) to get up to speed.
The striker situation is odd - the club must have known since the last window that Lath was leaving but didn't seem prepared (with a replacement).
I do like Conway, and Forss is a decent finisher (but is never fit these days).
We really could have done with adding a bit of 'steel' in midfield imo - someone who can 'lead' on the pitch and isn't scared to tackle.

I do like Carrick, and when we 'click' we can be a joy to watch - but something seems to have gone wrong (behind the scenes maybe) and no-one seems to be up for it (players) at the moment.

On the subject of squads etc........ I have never said that we have players that could walk into your team, or commented on how many of your players would get in ours.
Saying stuff like that has the potential to come back and bite you in the arse.
I also didn't expect us to be challenging for automatics, I've been supporting Boro far too long to expect owt like that.

Nice to see Ayling is still captain and getting a game after his roasting by Le Fee 😂

Fair doos.

Easy to say now, but obviously Le Fee walks into any team in this division so would undoubtedly get into hours. Id have Patterson over any of your keepers. Mepham goes without saying he'd get in both. As would Cirkin.

Dan Neil would , as would Jobe. I like Hackney for yous tonight. Do yous even play with wingers ? Who are they ? Any good ?

Exactly this - claims to be some kind of voice of reason but he's absolutely the opposite. Only taking this stance as Boro are shite, if they were Lording it above us he'd be on here 24/7 in my opinion

Tom cleverly seems ok to me
Yeah Cleverley seems alright, but I've noticed some similarities between the others, especially those who are bigger names. Just as how those traits held back Bruce, Hughes, Keane etc. from becoming top managers, they'll hold back Carrick if he doesn't change as well.

Well I came on here the night you beat us at the Riverside and admitted that you're better than us this season, so not sure what more you want me to say?

Play-offs don't guarantee you promotion.
Steven would be posting way more if they were doing well. Seahamstar to be fair to him and the grief I give him he does post on here and the other sub forums often.

Steven was summed up when they were 3-1 up at Norwich and he was hovering on this place all of HT. Then nowhere to be seen when their arse fell out.
Well that works both ways doesn't it, because I remember plenty went quiet on here and stopped posting in this thread earlier in the season, when we hit a bit of form and looked to be catching you up. Same thing happened last season.

I've never been a prolific poster and was on here posting the night you beat us at the Riverside. I only really post if there is a Boro related topic, whereas Seahamstar is obviously someone who enjoys the forum and posts regarding many different topics.
