Djilobodji 😱
Him and Van Aanholt were subs one game and they were having a kick about at half time.

They were standing a good 40 yards away from each other. I watched them for a good 5 minutes volleying the ball back and forth to each other. It never touched the deck once. It was volley, control, a couple of fancy touches volley back time after time. Nothing remotely like a bad pass or a poor touch! These weren't lobs, proper top of the foot hard volleys.

It was amazing to watch, the sort of thing that you would expect to see from absolute world beaters. I mean Van Aanholt could play, not the best defender but Big Sam got a decent tune out of him.

Djilobodji was shit during the game, an awful defender but he obviously had plenty of talent. He just couldn't produce it when it mattered.

Never seen a professional player with such skinny legs mind. He looks nowt like an athlete. No coincidence he’s injured all the time. 5 year contract was a minging decision.
Nobody has ever missed leg day like deontay had missed leg day.

In a squad full of some of the best attitudes we have ever had, this fella is a call back to the dark days of Rodwell and N’Dong.

Most of our players would run through a wall, he wouldn’t walk through an open door.
That's what I don't get, I'm sure Speakman was banging on about signing players with the right attitude and personality. The pictures of him signing with all the bling maybe should have been a warning

No player is good when he doesn't play. His injury record suggests that'll always be the case. However this time last season for Sheffield Wednesday he was playing better than Roberts ever has for us. I wonder if it was disciplinary reasons or injury he wasn't in the squad yesterday.
