On a political note, I actually think this is one of the reasons why the right extreme will never properly take off in England. Too many people are completely on board with gay people being themselves and are willing to defend that, it’s not quite like America in that regard where it’s a major dividing issue. Yes we have our idiots and the battle isn’t won, but most people (even reform grannies) are behind LGBT.

Bollocks, these types of showings do more to segregate the groups they’re fighting for inclusion. It’s a minority that discriminates and will never be eradicated. People just want to follow a football club man, not a protest organisation. I’ll call out discrimination when I see it and bring my kids up in the right way to do the same. That should be enough in my eyes.

Perhaps if you were victimised regularly for being LGB or T you would have a different perspective. This is to support equality and by definition needs to be more prominently promoted to show that as a society we do still have problems with bigots.
If you don’t support fairness don’t buy the shirt, if you don’t like the shirt don’t buy the shirt. It’s not an obligation.
