Alan Brazil talksport

The discussion wasn't about who likes women's football though so he had no reason to say no one gives a toss about it.

He's been turfed for calling her a boiler.

Men are much better at cricket.
Seriously? He's been banned for that? 🤣🤣

Nope. They were discussing man utds rebuild and projects. The womens game is one of the projects. She even seperated the two and agreed the mens game is priority. Fatty couldve just said "aye" and moved on rather than saying no one gives a toss.
He’s a radio presenter who is paid to give his opinion and generate debate, why shouldn’t he be giving his view? It’s one of their projects, but the Man Utd fanbase aren’t bothered about it. Just as if the project were to include carbon neutral initiatives, they wouldn’t be bothered about them either and he would say so. Be a pretty dull show if she just read the statement out and both guests/fellow presenters just said “aye” and they moved on!

Because his view was nothing to do with the discussion. If they were talking about popularity or interest, okay. They weren't. He just wanted to dimiss her and the womens game. I mean look at him. It's no wonder.

Ive got zero interest in women's football. I don't feel the need to say no one gives a toss about it if its being discussed.

Like I said though, remember to keep reminding lasses they'll never be as good as lads and no ones gives a toss if they ever mention playing football.

His view was about women's football having nothing to do with that particular project. I don't like the bloke and think he's a bell end, but on this occasion he is bang on. Nobody involved with that project at Man U, for one second, is thinking the women's team are part of it, because let's face it, they aren't.

Don’t start coming on throwing insults about, pathetic in all honesty. I don’t need to read it back, I wrote the bloody thing so I know it’s content!
You would say to your daughter, who is bang into womens footie, don't get into it as much as you are, because it's not as relevant as mens football. Great parenting!

Radcliffe would love to bin the womens team but he knows he can't.
He's said in the past that the men's team makes money whilst the women's team costs money.

A mention means nothing more than a token gesture and probably felt they needed to say to be PC, nobody at Man U is really including them. All they care about is the men's team, that's never been a secret.

Why have a women's team then?

Some will be. But no one said they were interested though. That's the bit you're missing.

They are absolutely part of project 150 though. That's a fact.

It was to do with the discussion though. The club released a plan to get them back to the top of the game and were asking fans to get onboard, the plan included the women's team to which he responded that fans weren’t interested in the women’s team. Honestly mate, it really isn’t that hard to understand.

If a certain player scores and McCoist wants to talk about how good is goal was, is Brazil not allowed to digress slightly and for instance comment on how he doesn’t rate the player particularly. Or should he just say “aye” and keep his thoughts to himself?

Not a dig at you mate but it is funny that when there’s someone directly involved it’s “box ticking”
