I'm pleased to hear Spearman being so supportive of Tommy, but sad that he felt the need to say it. There's been so much unhelpful speculation and guesswork. Now can we all get get back to supporting Tommy and looking forward to seeing him playing again.

I disagree with this like mate.

If you honestly believe that a kid that age wouldn't be seroiusly affected by what is being posted about him on social media then I have no idea what to say to you to convinve you otherwise.

Yes, he is a professional footballer but he is also just a kid and no doubt will be well informed from his peers about the vitriol that has been spread on various SM platforms.

The media also need to hang their heads in shame as well.
