The pressures on Watson from his parents and agent (who is it) for a payday would undoubtedly be heavy.
The young man might fancy moving away to the other end of the country to get away from his family? (I know i did when i was 18)
Also how hard was Speakman and Co working to keep the kid.
Despite all of the above, he will get more 1st team games with us and in terms of his career this will result in more money (probably)

If what is reported is true, then Barbara who does the tummy tucks exercise classes every other night at Peterlee Leisure Centre, is earning as much as Tommy.

I do know how much he earns down there i also understand he's an unproven 18 year old kid.
He won't agree to enhanced terms the club have offered as he knows he can get more elsewhere. That's football but don't live up the lads arse cos ur either his mate or mates with his family

You haven't a clue what he's onRidiculous! He's on nothing here in football terms. Gives him a great position in negotiation terms. Then if club do accept a bid then it's up to what the lad wants to do. No one knows what the kid is thinking. Some people on here think they do though

I see Tom Watson better than Clarke in PL. Big stronger lad. If Clarke is £15M then TW is worth a lot more….Yes TW doesn’t have enough minutes to get that evaluation but a bigger valuation like an option due to the lad being 18 years old. TW could end up 5 times the money in PL could be nothing fact is Brighton need to pay a stiff price as it sets up our rest of the squad valuations when we sell Bellingham & Riggs in the future if they out play Sunderland’s league standing.
