Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Im really pissed off about this, I want to direct my anger towards the club but it looks like they have done ok, to be honest. It's a long way from losing kids for pennies.
Agreed. Really frustrating to potentially lose an 18 year old lad without him getting a proper chance to do the business for us. But at the same time, it shows how far we've come from the days of selling promising kids for £250k under Donald

You can see why any 18 year old would fancy a move to Brighton tbf. All of the trappings without the daily grief and attention.
And he can dress like a bejewelled hussar if he avails himself of all the lanes has to offer. Much more fun than playing football in front of a large and appreciative crowd.

If Downie is right I can see the attraction for Watson but I’d imagine Adringa would take some convincing.

If he feels unwanted at Brighton I’d imagine there’ll be clubs higher up the food chain willing to take him.

If it doesn’t go through because of that Watson won’t have made himself popular here

Neither have I. But 15 appearances this season in the PL and 35 the season before suggests he is.

Had a look at brightons forum and they think it’s pie in the sky.

One quoted

“Maybe they would like us to chick in Joao Pedro as well?”
Aye , and a scotch egg

i'm sure Speakman has texted Amad to drop him a message

Contract down to less than 18 months won't be the clubs choice.

And he will probably have a Brighton shirt on in 6 hours.

A real mystery
No the club and the lad must have both had offers they can't refuse. Dont blame him to be honest once in a lifetime offer for him probably. Good luck to the lad
...if he goes.
