Bollocks. What if he didn’t want to sign. Look around. Players running down contracts to get a move is happening at every club in the land. It isn’t a Sunderland specific problem.

Depends how much Brighton want Watson. We're asking for a 6 month loan - they might be willing to do that to get Watson - plus it means we won't need to be scrambling around to try and replace him. Could be a win win for all parties. Adingra has played 15 times in the premier league this season though, so he's note exactly surplus to requirements.

Refreshing to see we aren't push overs in the transfer market anymore though.

Proper negotiating. People may not agree with every decision they make in the transfer market, but they certainly have got some good deals for our better players. Fair play to them imo
