Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Yep, we always ensure we get good fees nowadays for those in and around the first team.

It’ll be the same for Jobe etc in the summer if we don’t go up, the challenge is replacing them adequately.
of Watson goes for what is being quoted Jobe is 50m++

Agreed, every indication so far dictates that they'll bag the absolute maximum out of them that they can. I actually trust this lot to do that
We are obligated to get what we can ... clarke fee was agonised over on here ... and you have to wonder if Watson can make an impact there within the next 18 month... Brighton might want to buy him ...but give us the option to loan him straight back as we offer faster progression

You can see why any 18 year old would fancy a move to Brighton tbf. All of the trappings without the daily grief and attention.

Depends how much Brighton want Watson. We're asking for a 6 month loan - they might be willing to do that to get Watson - plus it means we won't need to be scrambling around to try and replace him. Could be a win win for all parties. Adingra has played 15 times in the premier league this season though, so he's note exactly surplus to requirements.

Refreshing to see we aren't push overs in the transfer market anymore though.

Rejected £2m in the summer
Rejected £8m plus add ons the other day
Reportedly willing to accept a higher fee now but on the condition they give us a £20m player on loan in return

Proper negotiating. People may not agree with every decision they make in the transfer market, but they certainly have got some good deals for our better players. Fair play to them imo

Im really pissed off about this, I want to direct my anger towards the club but it looks like they have done ok, to be honest. It's a long way from losing kids for pennies.

Just chatting to my BHA supporting mate. His words:

"I'd be amazed it that happens. He may not be the first name on our team sheet, but he's an important player for us"
" Red herring " negotiation tactic . " Ok but we want Adingra, non negotiable " . Stick to your guns till the last minute then say " ok we'll drop our very important Adingra condition ..but you have to give something in return "
