That’s more than we got and that’s before we paid the sell on or consider what we originally paid. Happy for a loan and obligation but he’s worth less now. We got 15 plus add ons that may well never have been triggered. Roughly 3m in sell on a perhaps a 2m fee means we’d need to get him for less than 10 to be really good value.

the hypothetical was that he does come back, for the same fee we got for him. That would be a cracking deal for us.
Doesn't really deserve either of those things at the minute.
A modest pay increase for a new contract aye. Regular game time and decent money? He doesn't get in over Mundle when both fit and he's done nothing of note yet to warrant anywhere near what Brighton are willing to pay (Prem money and a drop in the ocean to them)
He's 18 with only a handful of first team games under his belt

it's been a few months, can't see Ipswich selling at a loss.
He'd slot straight back in, as if he's just been out injured for few months. knows the club, knows the managers, and i'd pack Watson't bags myself if it meant we got Clarke back.
