They clearly think he has potential- they were in for him during the summer. His reputation has been enhanced since and they're back in for him.

In that case why wouldn't you demand big money for him?

We can’t let this lad go. He’s just beginning to flourish and his interests and future are best served here. Do the business and the rest will follow for sure, that I don’t doubt, like a few in front of you. The lad needs stern guidance for his future, not short termisim. We’ve seen the ramifications of this short sightedness from former players several years ahead of him. Don’t be another, your better than this.

Sell now for 9mill or sign him up to new contract and sell in year or 2 for 15 20 Mill. Chancers would've already sold him to Saudis for 300k. See what KLD instructs. Sometimes you need a bit of flash cash going for premier. So I wouldn't begrudge a bit of horseplay.

I'd keep him. But I'm biased. I like local lads turning out for us.
