Adil Aouchiche

Aouchiche is ok, nowt more, nowt less.

Saying that I was surprised he didn’t come on for a tiring Le Fee at the weekend.

But when fit he’ll be 4th in line behind mundle, Watson and Le Fee if the right deal can be done he’ll be off this window

AA and Le Fée are very similar players, but Le Fée just seems a tad better on initial viewing. I’d still keep AA, but it’d be understandable if he went out on loan.

When players like Mundle are back, they are different options, so you’d rather play them if you were trying to switch things up.

According to someone close to him who private messaged me on X, Le Bris has told him thanks for helping out but he can leave. Will likely leave on loan.

It's a pity as I feel he has qualities to unlock defences that no one else in the squad has.
His industry largely comes to nothing. In advanced positions seldom looks like scoring. Get shot.

It’s such a lazy argument to say Aouchice has no end product. He’s put chances on a plate for people in the 3 or 4 games he played. We needed players with a bit of guile like him to break a team like that down yesterday.

Think that’s it for him though he needs to go for his own benefit and play week in week out somewhere, rather than wasting away on the bench.
The Mayenda dolly header being one. Stoke away?

He was filling in on the left while we had injuries, now we have brought Le Fee in who is doing that job.

He’s on the bench as part of the squad.

Absolutely nothing surprising about it, but of course on here people need to look for an issues where there aren’t any.

Of course there is a surprise.
Regis doesn’t use subs well.
There is absolutely no surprise when he makes very late subs and we conceded very late.
Alexisic (sp) is another.

He plays his team until very late and is there a wonder we are on the back foot or the replacements have had very little game time? It’s worrying.

It also appears that Regis doesn’t know his best side. The one he does and mainly relies on are all out of their material position.
On Saturday you could argue the following during the duration of the game played at some point out of position.

Onien
Rigg
Neil
Bellingham
Enzo
Mayender
Robert’s

That’s 7 players. (You can argue about Bellingham but his best position in the holding midfielder)

It’s all bizarre and no wonder we are clutching at straws.

He'd be better in that position with le Fee in his more natural role, for me, like.

Holds the ball up well and has to be a better iron than five at the back getting in each other's way for the last 15.

Aouchiche has even less end product than Roberts, he looks lively, has a trick or two, but very rarely does it end in a goal being scored (which a lot of people forget is the purpose)
The number of times he loses the ball, a pass or cross goes astray or a shot hits Row Z is ridiculous, he's not good enough.
Another one who doesn’t even watch the games. He literally sets up goals in the games he’s played. Also, he sets up chances, it’s the strikers job to put them away.

Nowhere near the scale you're suggesting, if he was Le Bris wouldn't be getting rid, wouldn't you agree.

I’ll sorry to see him go. I was totally unconvinced at first but in the 3-4 games he started recently he was starting to look like a real talent.

There’s potential there & we have him on a long contract we should invest in it.

Ended the game with four centre halves, four centre mids, a full back and a forward, all trying to play in the same shape we started with.
