Jack Clarke

He's playing games for Ipswich, sometimes only off the bench, but they're right among the relegation battle which is far from over. He clearly hasn't done well there yet, but there is still time for Ipswich and him.

Just forget for a minute whether we would have him back. Why would they loan him to us?

It’s interesting to hear that a lot of commentators are saying he has been poorly advised by his agent.

I really wish the lad well but it might be next season before Ipswich see the lad at his best

Mundle & Watson are getting better the longer they are out mind, imagine folk saying they wouldn’t have Clarke over them. :D
I think it’s because both of these players were flying when they got injured and since then nobody has really done the same out there.
If both or either of Mundle and Watson were back from injury there would be no Jack Clarke conversation as both have put their marker down and that marker is a high one.

that had already started to change in the first few games of the season which he played in.
He would be the out ball only when there is no other option . Truth is we have played with proper strikers and Rigg playing every week this season, the team is better because other players have been added or improved, it’s not better because Jack Clarke is not in it
This. Clarke back would improve us.
we've sold them a player that hasn't been able to make the step up.
We've 2 players now who can play in that position - when they're fit - who are more than good enough for the championship.
So the model has worked for that position so far.

Let's move on.
He's not had the minutes to prove that either way in my opinion.

He's in and out of a side that chops and changes every week, that's cannon fodder for the rest of the league.

The one game he got 90 minutes in he got an assist and they drew with Villa.

Ya'll not see the best of Jack Clarke when they're under the cosh every week, and unitl he gets a run in a settled side.

I think there's a serious chance that if they go down he might even find himself on the bench next season in the championship. He's not showing anything to suggest it is going to work for him down there (not all his fault), and if they come down they'll still have Wes Burns and Sam Szmodics who you'd think would start for them having done reasonably well. Hutchinson would also be ahead of him but i can see someone signing him.

I completely understand him taking that move for the wages on offer, but the majority of could see footballing wise this wasn't a great move

why on earth would Ipswich loan us Jack Clarke?
Not saying it would happen but if he is falling down the pecking order, if they want him to atleast play rather than stall or want some of his wage covered. He can only play for us or Ipswich this season
