Jack Clarke

Clarke in our team right now would guarantee us automatic promotion.
Loved Clarke when he was here, but we are a better team now without him (IMO). It looks that we are trying to build a team that will be able to compete at the next level and on the evidence so far, Clarke is not the next level, but will be a good combative next season for Ipswich as it looks like they along with Leicester and Southampton are going down.
That's not disrespecting Clarke, but if he was still here we would not be as good a team as he would always be the go to ball and with the players we have we have moved on from that (IMO).

It was best for all parties at the time but not so much for him now in a footballing sense at least. Money wise it’s a happy day for him.

It’s brought Mundle and Watson into the first team and I genuinely think they’ll both be better players and much more suited to the way Regis plays football.

We're a better team now because we have a striker, we played pretty well as a team when we had Clarke there in the first few games of the season. We'd be mad not to get him back on loan if there's a chance, Mundle and Watson might be better in the future but they're both injured and we have a big chance of promotion this season so any help is needed.

I asked because I wasn’t sure what you will have meant. What made you change your mind?
Well he hadn’t been tested against a Premier League side for us until then and he barely got a look in against an aging and declining Trippier.

That was the first clue he may struggle at a higher level.

Need to put this one to bed, fellas.

He's a very rich boy, getting richer by the week. He made his bed (Railroaded by Hart)

I loved him when he was here but it was his decision to take the cash. If you're under contract the club can't make you leave..

Move on

What did you think when he played twice and scored against Fulham twice?

Btw I think Trippier is hugely underrated on here. World Cup quarter/semi level fullback

that had already started to change in the first few games of the season which he played in.
He would be the out ball only when there is no other option . Truth is we have played with proper strikers and Rigg playing every week this season, the team is better because other players have been added or improved, it’s not better because Jack Clarke is not in it
