2-0 to a high flying Notts County isn’t the worst result of the season, but you’re hovering just above those drop slots, something needs to improve and sharpish.Bump - Second best all over the park.
Today a stark reminder where we currently are as a football club.
Real sad knowing nothing gets any better until these Chancers are all gone.
There are points up for grabs until the end of the season. Your game at Carlisle especially is a target to get some & take points away from them. Third bottom is the safety target for a few clubs so it's about who holds their nerve & battles over the coming few months.Bump - Second best all over the park.

Good point for you today, in your position it's about grinding out and battling for results & it's now a five point gap to a relegation place. Before you say games in hand, points in the bag are what counts. It's tightening up at the bottom end for an escape so I reckon one or two more will be dragged into it.
Sorry about my late reply but your response hadn't shown up in alerts.Definitely- Better team today. Just lacked composure in the 18 yard box.
We look a much better side.
Could do with winning a few away games.
All about the positives. Winning games at home and remaining away games only 2 teams to play in the top half of the league.
Carlisle are signing some gems mind. Could still have a few other sides getting sucked in.
Don't become blase about playing only two from the top half, from mid table down will all be looking over their shoulder to scrap & stay out of it, no easy points but your lot have a tall forward to play off who can also score goals so if the rest of the team can defend how Olly tells them you're in with a decent shout.Winning games at home and remaining away games only 2 teams to play in the top half of the league.

It takes a bit of time for a new manager's beliefs to start getting across. Results show Olly's set-ups are having an effect. Composure comes with time as the team show capability of getting results. Getting a 0-0 at Crewe can only help, mental strength will grow with that because if you can keep a clean sheet a single scrappy goal wins you games
Don't start getting greedy mind, just keep plugging away & taking points to get you safe.
Carlisle have signed some players but it's still about what Williamson gets them to do so watch that space. And yes there'll still be another couple dragged into the bottom two battle.

Sorry again this should have been on my previous post.
Barrow are one of the teams I think will be dragged into it, the odd goal either way will likely get something in that one.Going to be a few twists and turns.
Need to beat Barrow at home Saturday.

It's reaching the stage where games have to be translated into points for everyone at the bottom. The pressure's building.Really have to win this as played more games than the other teams.
Hope not I have a soft spot for BarrowBarrow are one of the teams I think will be dragged into it, the odd goal either way will likely get something in that one.
Me too, G/parents came from over that way so along with Carlisle I'm dreading a possible Cumbrian double.Hope not I have a soft spot for Barrow
Good to hear mateWhat a cracking win, not the best performance but Holloway has turned this shit around. Last 5 home league games won 4 and drawn 1.
Dragged other clubs into it now. No way are we out of it and injuries and no money could still hit us but the tune he is getting out of the same players is impressive.
The players like him and it shows.
Biggest difference is our improved fitness and when we don’t have the ball.
Feeling a little more at ease at that feels good.
Driving to Newport Friday and a point would be superb.
You can’t help liking his interviews. If he carry’s on he can say what he likes.
We simply cannot get relegated.

The above post match interview nails it, Holloway's having the effect he does on a team. You can see the players are battling for him.
We were in desperate trouble and he has taken the same group and made them more like a team. His experience has been invaluable but his man management has been first class.
