Wayne Rooney - sacked

The wanker at cov.
Gerrard in the desert.
Terry cant get work.
Rooneys win ratio.

Any others?
Neville’s Valencia job

Ashley Cole seems highly regarded as a coach, could be history repeating itself with that generation, the hyped names failing to do the business whilst Cole quietly gets on with it, interesting to see if he gets a managerial job down the line

Rooney's record was useless so why shouldn't he get sacked? It's no more than he deserved. His management record will only go alongside many other famous footballers who failed to make the managerial grade.

Let's not forget Jamie Carragher.
Gary Neville
Football management is one of the most intriguing jobs out there. I mean you don’t have to be a particularly good player to be a success at it. This begs the question to me as to what does actually make a very good manager, is it timing, good luck with having a crop of very talented players at your disposal, being intelligent and understanding parts of the game that others don’t. Over recent years you can look at some former players who have been successful such as Klopp, Guardiola as successes against better players in Rooney,Lampard,Gerrard etc who haven’t exactly set the world on fire with their management skills. So what is the formula for greatness, or even just very good.

Honestly surprised it took this long but looked like a disaster appointment from the off. One of those jobs where you know both are going to come off worse from it.

Still managed to beat us of course as typical fashion would go.

I quite like Rooney though, think he's decent enough when he's a pundit so maybes could do that. He'd probably be a good fit for seeing his mates on the Overlap and shows like that and do well enough to keep him busy enough without being totally bored in retirement.

If he wants to be involved in football then he probablys needs to take a step back and do some coaching under someone and see how he gets on there.
