Watched the 3rd episode lastnight. Some of these planets moons are more interesting than the planets themselves. Also first i knew about the Mars helicopter

We watched it with the kids earlier in the year and they loved it but me and the other half just spent most of it laughing at the times he goes on random holidays that have fuck all to do with the point he’s educating. The Spanish monastery?? WTF was that about??

My Dad was desperate for it to go in his lifetime.

how long would it take the light from Betelgeuse to reach us? As in, what’s to say it hasn’t already?

Most of the stars in the sky are long dead anyway. A bit like our automatic promotion hopes.

600 to 700 years apparently, it takes 45 mins to an hour for Jupiter's to be seen from Earth.
