Spurs would be a ridiculous move for him like but I’d happily take the cash
 
Do PL clubs still pick up English keepers to be 3rd choice for Euro comps, or is that not neccessary any more ?

I think people have seen too much of the likes of Pickford, Alisson or Ederson on TV and expect him to be like them. He’s fine if a bit casual when passing around his own half. I think we’ve played every team now and some of the oppo goalies are no where near him in terms of distribution. I’m more critical of him palming shots back into danger.

He’s fine for this level. Sometimes it’s better the devil you know. As a fan base many were happy to see mannone moved on yet the car crash of ruiter, Steele and camp came next!

He’s the best keeper we have had since Pickford. No where near as good, but the least of our problems

Every now and again someone will give him a bit of a dodgy backpass and he struggles with his long kicking and it ends up going out of play. I don't see it as too much of a problem.

Applies to every keeper in every league and has done since the norm was to pass out from the back

He’s a good keeper. Fans in general expect far too much from their goalkeeper and don’t see opposition keepers with the same regularity to make fair comparisons with their peers. Goalkeepers who ‘command their area’ are very few and far between even in the premier league. It Patterson makes a really good stop and the rebound goes in it isn’t always his fault it’s happening up and down the country in dozens of games every week. With his feet he’s below par but all other aspects he’s above par relative to the league we are playing in.

Good Championship keeper. In honesty, I watched him coming through the u21s and watch that level regularly.

He surprised me on how well he done in staking his claim to be #1 as long as he has. His kicking is absolutely shocking mind, will stop him becoming a top flight keeper unless he improves it.

Hopefully Matty Young lives up the hype.

As a Championship level keeper I like the lad. His arse, however, is getting fatter than that of Newcastle Women's s traitorous Claudia Moan - that's going some 😳.

I think he’s at the stage where his distribution can’t improve otherwise it would have by now , great shot stopper , poor distribution and is glued to the line when the balls in and around the 6 yard box
