We’ve had plenty good players that didn’t commit on the park or show any affection to the club and plenty shit players who didn’t also.

Power wasn’t good but he was committed and has shown some affinity to the club. I don’t know why anyone would have any kind of visceral dislike of him to the extent to wishing the fella a shit day like :lol:

This is the thing, he’s obviously quite clever and knows how to keep people onside with times chest bashing and shows of “pashun”. Basically just trying to stay relevant with our fanbase and dafties fall for it.

Who won....Always remember Dover getting a highly disputed Penalty against Pools to win the game, Penalty taker riled up the crowd unnecessarily and then got miffed when someone bit back perhaps mentioning his race and his lack of parentage.

For me it's Gateshead v Hartlepools Today... Can't see the Mighty Monkey Hangers getting anything from the Wor Club Baldies...

Not really. It’s just pretty daft when players lose their heads and shoot from 40 yards because a load of fat divs have shouted shoot.

Seen a fair few do things like that mind. Maguire, McGeady & Pritchard did it sometimes as well.

Just seems odd that it still annoys you when we’d have been in a worse position going up that year. Lee Johnson as gaffer and probably the likes of Maguire & Flanagan starting in the championship. Much better for us in hindsight we didn’t go up that year.
