Toilet wasnt out of order the problem was the 6 people stood inside toilet and the dozen or so in the entrance area :evil:
Was typically carnage, quite a lot of kids on too, luckily most sat down cos it was very squeezed

Are any Northern trains running new yrs day Newcastle to Sunderland? I'm travelling up for the game on the train to Newcastle and can't find any info for the rest of the journey.

WEDNESDAY 1 JAN – NEW YEARS DAY​

EXPECT DISRUPTION – TRAINS START LATER - CHECK BEFORE TRAVELLING

NO/LIMITED SERVICES IN THE NORTH EAST

  • Usual service throughout the day however trains will start later than usual (around 0900), so check before travelling and don’t rely on very early trains.
  • There are no services in the North East on New Years Day.
    • Except for a limited service between Middlesbrough & Whitby
