Unprofessional. There will be supporters paid an absolute fortune to go out there and watch a team who already have one foot on the plane home.

Are you the ghost of Bob Willis?Send them all home economy class
Wouldn’t shock me if he did so he could try and be the hero.I can't see Stokes coming out to bat unless Bethell, Root and Brook score 500 runs between them.
About time we seen the back of him.Crawley averaging 8.6 in this series. What a player.
Hell come out and bat. He only hobbles off if things are getting tricky with the ball.3pm tee time booked tomorrow I'd guess.
Joking aside, it's a rancid performance and Stokes' injuries are becoming a concern.
Why do you hate himHell come out and bat. He only hobbles off if things are getting tricky with the ball.
Better than Root having Wood bowl in the Ashes when Australia were setting up a declaration.Giving Harry Brook the second new ball probably sums up this England performance
Think it depends on how the Ashes goes, Kallis pretty much stopped bowling in the last few years of his career, can see Stokes finishing with bowling in the next year, then it's about his batting (33 won't cut it, but if he gets back to 40+)How long do we realistically think Stokes has left in test cricket? He’s 34 in the summer and his body is seemingly always ravaged by injuries. Apparently his averages with bat and ball over the past two years are 33 and 38 so he’s not exactly contributing massively outside of his captaincy.
I wonder if a drubbing down under next year would see him retire if his body can’t handle test match cricket anymore.
That's his t20 stint and champions trophy out the window. Probably stay retired from ODIStokes can rest for winter and spring anyway
