New Zealand v England 3rd test Hamilton

I think that’s fair enough up to a point mate.

I certainly think sport should be entertaining and top international very well paid sportsman have a duty to entertain and set a good example of how sport should be played hard but fair.

And the sport always bigger than the team

That certainly my philosophy.

And have been crying out for years and years for our test cricket team to be more entertaining and positive, therefore perhaps I am too biased in the praise I give them because of that?

But I do think certain fans of sporting teams whether it Sunderland football, England football, England cricket love to moan at times and focus more or bad performances and negative performances than the good ones even when a lot more good ones!!!!

Some are passionate and some just love to moan;)

That fair enough it maybe their personality but it’s not mine;)
Very altruistic attitude. Passionate supporters will moan it's simply their way of expressing their frustration and disappointment. It shouldn't be taken too literally. The passionate supporter gets his pleasure from the team winning -entertainment is secondary. Personally I can't enjoy a game as a neutral-got to have a vested interest in one of the teams.
Just pleased it wasn’t our team with lurpak all over their hands.

You may have combusted in your criticism then :D
I think they had in the last few days.

That’s fair enough mate I get and respect that.

However with respect I love sport for the spectacle and enjoyment it gives and think the sport itself more important than the teams.

We all different!

It wasn’t the passionate fans I was referencing anyway it’s inevitable in the heat of the moment passionate supporters will get pissed off when their team fails or plays poorly.

Like I said on the post you quoted some are passionate some just love to moan.

It’s the sarcasm, criticism, twisting of everything from a section of supporters sometimes before a ball even bowled I was talking about

We'll let them moan and twist if that's their pleasure- all logic goes out the window with fanatics. Saw 60 odd year old blokes going absolutely ballistic when Sunderland 's winner went in on Saturday.I'm confident they're perfectly well balanced guys the rest of the week.

Well yeah of course when your team scores in a winner like that it’s great to be fanatic nobody would dream of saying anything else.

Once again I not on about them, I am on about the blokes that twist from the first minute shout loads abuse at players, the ref, the manager etc etc and do it all the time

The old it’s a ‘ man’s game I have been at work all week’ .

Nah some fans are passionate and lose themselves in the heat of the moment fair enough that’s their enjoyment

others just twist like fuck and are born moaners

Well if they're that ignorant they're best ignored Can't understand why you let them get under your skin.
Aye you probably right I shouldn’t, it’s the same at work, there is always someone twisting all the time even though we have good working conditions etc and it gets on tits and shouldn’t :D

Yeh, got to admire blokes who never react even if their @rse was on fire.
9.30 start tonight because of yesterday's delay. If anyone still interested.

The news is that Ben Stokes will bat if (when) required. We thought he was having a scan overnight, but that wasn't the case. It will be after the match.
