Zak Johnson

They're looking to sending him out on loan again in January to gain more experience and develop. He'll be 20 next summer with 1 year left on his contract, i'm not sure what they'll do with him as he can't get anywhere near the starting line up in the league. Maybe best for all that he moves on permantley to another club and get game time week in and week out
You’ve got to think Joe Anderson comes in for him on the bench if he leaves.

Why do you think that?

He's had decent experience on loan elsewhere. Get him on loan to a league club in January. Play 20 odd games and see how he goes
I just think imo they don't rate him and no pathway to starting week in and week out in the first team as they're buying players in, same why Fielding left i would imagine. Hope i'm wrong thou but at this point just can't see it

Do want clubs are doing to us , move him on with an agreed buyback clause and a future sell on clause .....

If he kicks on we bring him back if it suits us , or he kicks on and we get a % of the fee.

I think Anderson will go in January. He definitely needs to be playing. We have Ballard, Mepham, O’Nien. Alese and Hjielde then can play CB and that’s without Seelt coming back. I think Johnson is still in with a chance of making it here but he’ll need a loan to see what he’s made of.

If it's right, he's only played 2 games in the first team in 4 seasons which were League Cup games the last 2 seasons. 33 appearances for Hartlepool & Dundalk in the past 2

I still think he's better than hjelde but he does need to be playing at this point

he was same year as my son who is 20 in january
End of july is right on the border of 1 school year to other
you can have two people in a year almost a year apart
My post was august 30th. The school year cut off date is the last day in august , it was therefore impossible for him to be 20 on august 30th

He wont make it here if we aspire to make it back to the premier league. I seen him at Hartlepool get the absolute run around off Part time players in Dorking Wanderers

Did you see him at Dundalk?
A key component of turning around their shit fortune. The fans loved him.
He was supposed to go on loan at the end of the summer but picked up an injury which stymied any move.
More than likely to get loaned again in January for more game time. League 1 would be a good move. He’s been training with the first team and a regular on the bench but unlikely to get a sniff due to RLB’s obstinate reluctance to make subs anywhere on the pitch and you rarely change a back four unless you really have to.

Almost like young players need different experiences and develop at different speeds whilst also being inconsistent at times.

Keep slagging off teenagers without giving them a chance. You'd think you'd learn but clearly not.
Slagging them off😂 mate its a game of football its nothing personal. All i said was id be very suprised if Zak Johnson makes it here, Just a personal opinion having watched him alot of times. I watched him struggle only last week against Gateshead fringe players.
