Carrick - I'd say he has the backing of the vast majority of us, yes there's concerns about inconsistencies (as any fan base would), but the majority can see he's decent and is pulling us in the right direction.

Twist stuff to suit your weird agenda as much as you like, but if your team had just won 3 on the bounce, scoring fifteen goals in the process, I'm pretty sure there'd be a clamour on here for the championship trophy to be awarded already.

Supporters of all clubs get carried away with a good (and bad) run, it's the nature of being a football fan.
But, you make out that we all think we're world beaters one minute and all want Carrick out the next - it's not true.
We're just like supporters of any club (including yours), a cross section of human nature.

All I've ever said about it all is that it's a long old season and you were above us the last two seasons early on too.

What utter bollocks. There’s several threads there proclaiming players to be like world superstars. Erm, we beat you lot as well, the self proclaimed best footballing side in the division! We haven’t played west Brom or Sheffield Utd yet. They’re a right bunch of up themselves twats on there man. And fickle as fuck. Way more than even here.

10 men v QPR.
We beat you.
We've hit a dip in form no doubt about that and suffered injuries / suspensions which for me shows the overall squad needs improving although the Coventry game was one we really should have wrapped up. Three back from injury and suspension on Tuesday intruding Bellingham so hopefully we'll push on.

Fancied for what ? Top two? Play offs? We've beaten Burnley and Middlesbrough as teams that are fancied for top 6. I would say we're about level on beating teams fancied for top 6, but yet here we are top of the league.

We've only lost two games all season and they were in the space of 3 weeks to two poor teams who due to our own stupidity conceded late goals against both.

We're damn hard to beat, and it's a huge part of why we're top. We likely won't stay too, sure any Sunderland fan you come across will tell you that. But we'll finish top 6. Boro stand a good chance but yous are more likely to lose stupid games than we are.

Add to that we have conceded first once in 16 games. That’s unreal at this level.

Aye definitely. We won't ever receive praise from the likes of Boro. All they ever say is you's were ahead of of the past two seasons as well. This time last year Boro had overtaken us in the league. Difference is we're not losing games this time, we had lost 6 more matches this time last season compared to now, we'd conceded 9 more goals. This was the start of the decline.

We're a far stronger squad, as proved by yesterday, down to the bare bones and went away to a team top of the form table who had beaten Leeds and Burnley in that run.

Amazes me we have fans twisting like fuck actually having typed that up.
 
Starting to take their chances and could be a big danger to the teams at the top ..
Highest xg in the league and starting to look like they will be up there should win next 2 then Burnley and Leeds so that will show where their at in a couple of weeks time
