That’s a mad statistic like. One extreme to the other, not scoring to running riot. Of course it will settle somewhere in between the two extremes but not according to Boro because xG says they are going to score 150 goals this year 🤣

Their best player is a loan as per. We should go in for him in Jan to rock the boat, would be a good signing ino. Would strengthen us and knack in them.

If the only metric you're using ia points gained after less than a third of the season gone crack on. I of course hope we finish higher than them. But don't think we will. I just think they are currently performing at a higher level than us.

Well I used more than points gained mind. We've conceded less, goals scored are close enough. More clean sheets. Middlesbrough are performing well at present. Genuinely find it difficult to read too much into their three wins just gone, it's against relegation battling teams. Aye they've scored a fair few goals, but we beat Oxford and Luton too. And spent a long time playing with ten men against QPR.

This thread has turned into you lot reassuring eachother that Boro still aren't very good. Don't worry about it.

I fear our defence may let us down. We concede too many to challenge right at the top of the league I think.

Obviously been firing but the sides you played are poor. Yea, we failed to beat QPR but we were just turning the screw when Jobe got sent off. Shit happens. The whole championship is tight, anyone can beat anyone on their day…

I think you have more flair players, but like you say we look a more solid outfit. Because of that I think we last the distance better, time will tell. I think you’ll be waiting a while for out apparent imminent collapse “once injuries and suspensions kick in” 😁
