The non-handshake of Trai Hume was one of the lowest points in the club’s history
He wasn't, but he should never have been given the job in the first place after the uproar from fans was obvious. The football really wasn't all that different than under Mowbray that season, but neither of them had the squad to do the business.
I said at the time he was appointed, his success or failure lies squarely with Speakman and KLD. The fans didn't want him, but they didn't back him or give him the tools he needed to do the job.
Michael Beale has been appointed as Steven Gerrard's new assistant manager at Al Ettifaq, talkSPORT understands.
Needed a good preseason.Still think he wasn't given a fair run here.
Never would have happened under Mowbray that.I'll never forgive the fucker for handing the skunks the win in the FA cup match.
Shameful.
Blackburn at least had a go.

Aye that’s the thing I’ll remember on me death bed of the worst years of my time supporting the lads. The non-handshake of Trai Hume was one of the lowest points in the club’s history
I realise he is the devil incarnate to many for being in charge when our 10m team was beat by a 400m team from a higher division. he had no where near enough time to fix shambles left behind by Mowbray.Michael Beale has been appointed as Steven Gerrard's new assistant manager at Al Ettifaq, talkSPORT understands.
He will revolutionise Saudi football with that word class coaching
He should never been appointedStill think he wasn't given a fair run here.
In no other industry are failures rewarded so handsomely.Football really does have a way of just repeating itself with blaggers like him making fortunes
You've probably got the most apt user name on here you do know nowtI realise he is the devil incarnate to many for being in charge when our 10m team was beat by a 400m team from a higher division. he had no where near enough time to fix shambles left behind by Mowbray.
wasnt overly fond of him...his mien was very iffy, but as a coach in the game he had a good reputation and many put down any success Gerrard had at Rangers and for a short time at Villa (until Beale left ) to him.
Gerrard is on his last legs in saudi league. like many ( eg keane, lampard, rooney, Ince ) he is all about former playing days and has little to offer in the sphere of managing and coaching.
