There's actually a meeting Today
With nissan vauxhall and government minister . To remphaise the need for help with level playing field with Chinese imports . And let's be honest the lack of electric car sales but also the missing infrastructure in place . We will see how it plays out . I still think the labour government will help nissan through this difficult period of transition in the automotive sector

There not many buying diesels,must be all that DPF,Cat,emissions,limp mode etc bollocks putting people.

There's loads of speculation. Car company's have did as governments requested. Go electric manufacturing in future . Greener planet . It hasn't worked out so far through no fault of the car manufacturers. Doing as they were told . Governments have to and will help simple as that

Leisure vehicle sales (99.9% of which are ICE powered) have slumped more than cars.Should fait,citroen,vauxhall,ford,mercedes,renault,VW,MAN etc be given govt money from their respective govts?

Ford . Breaking news 4000 jobs to go . 800 in U.K hsve said they're seeking help from governments as well. Governments due to climate change set a new future for car manufacturing. They should and will help . Especially in U.K
