Jobe Cirkin Rigg sold and we won't be able to afford Mepham or IsidorI can see 4 going in the summer if we don’t go up probably bring in around £80 million
We've said this every summer for the past 4 years or so, and we've consistently over ever sold one at a time.I can see 4 going in the summer if we don’t go up probably bring in around £80 million
the tipping point comes when a championship player gets offered a premier league salaryWe've said this every summer for the past 4 years or so, and we've consistently over ever sold one at a time.

And two of them are going into the last 12 months of their contracts in the summer if no new deal is signed both be soldthe tipping point comes when a championship player gets offered a premier league salary
As long as it to clubs in the premier league or owa seas not stay in the championshipI can see 4 going in the summer if we don’t go up probably bring in around £80 million
Rigg signed 3 year deal in the summer. Jobe signed on for a further 4 years. And two of them are going into the last 12 months of their contracts in the summer if no new deal is signed both be sold
Haven't we already agreed a fee of around £4m? I think he'll be here next season regardless imoJobe Cirkin Rigg sold and we won't be able to afford Mepham or Isidor
we'll have a bit of cash in the bank mind....
Is there a club option of another year? A lot of our renewals recently seem to have this clause in - hopefully it's the case hereThey aren't.

Cirkin will only have a year left in the summer unless we sort something before then. Hopefully that's in the pipeline.
It's just negative bollocks.Haven't we already agreed a fee of around £4m? I think he'll be here next season regardless imo

Name the clubs who aren’t selling clubs? It's just negative bollocks.
We are a selling club for the right price. See Stewart and Clarke but sold a year apart.
Totally agree.Name the clubs who aren’t selling clubs?
It’s not a very long list
Only have to look at Dewsbury-Hall to see why going to Chelsea or alike is a bad idea. He went from regular football at Leicester to just 10 apps for Chelsea so far mainly in european conference league games where they seem to be playing mainly a second string. He would never get a start at Chelsea, or any other big club, mebbe a few sub appearances if he's lucky,
Or go out on loan for a couple of years...
Or just stay here where he is developing his game, getting lots of playing time and is in the England setup. At his age, money is unlikely to be a major consideration.
Relates to this.....Expand and explain please!
It simply depends on the players ambition.Only have to look at Dewsbury-Hall to see why going to Chelsea or alike is a bad idea. Dewsbury isn't really young and followed his old boss so it's a different comparisonIt simply depends on the players ambition.
If he wants big bucks now he leaves. If he actually wants a productive and enjoyable career he should wait for the right opportunity. Dewsbury Hall and Clarke seem to have wanted the money with little thought as to which club the were going too.

They changed the rules to stop the long contracts Chelsea were using to spread their stupid transfer spending over loads of years to play FFP rules. The fee is spread over the length of the contract for FFP spending rules so longer contracts meant lower figures each year to stay inside the rules. They closed this option off by limiting it to 5 years.
Not many mins....his premier league pitch time amounts to 44 mins so far this season in 3 sub appearances all about a month apart each time.I doubt either player would say it was a bad idea, both getting minutes in the Premier League and both on significant pay rises.
End of the day, for either player mentioned the absolute worst case scenario is that they end up back in the Championship, and even then, probably on more money and playing first team football for a club that are challenging for promotion.
Think it's easy for us armchair fans to shout about ambition and how young players could wait, but sometimes you've just got to grasp an opportunity when it comes along as nothing is guaranteed.
