I'm not saying it's right or fair. The fair thing would be for every ticket to go on merit but that will never happen - Jobe obviously didn't have enough loyalty points for a Preston ticket last week. But we're talking a pretty small number of tickets that are farmed out. Closing that avenue would basically kill off branches for the sake of making an extra few tickets available. You wouldn’t be saying this if you were on a decent level of points and were missing out to someone on next to no points
Absolute bollocks statement which I assume was intended to wind people up
It’s not about picking and choosing for many people. Sure some just want Leeds and Hull but the majority want fairness in distribution and get angry when they hear stories of loyalty numbers being so freely passed on. This abuse of the system is being perpetrated by fellow fans ffs.
I love this bus argument. So non branch members should miss out on a ticket because someone wants to fill a bus?? Surely it’s more important that the most loyal fans get the chance to buy a ticket. Don’t forget non branch members also need to organise their own transport.
If the club actually got their arse into gear and got tickets on sale in advance with a fair, progressive way of moving through the points brackets instead of the ridiculous ballot, that would have a much more positive impact.
