That second half

Aye. Makes the non use of Aleksic all the more baffling. What’s the point of splashing in excess of £3m on the kid and he doesn’t get a look in.
Rumours of another Rusyn situation of not being able to settle, language barrier etc. If that's the case then club had got to look into a player's background, as well as his on field performance.

I thought you were shite tbh. A very lucky point. We should have been out of sight.
We had a few breaks that we should have capitalised on when they were inevitably leaving themselves open when chasing the game. But they had us hemmed in for most of the second half. They were putting the pressure on. We looked leggy, sloppy, lacking composure.

We've been doing this a lot. The gameplan is a very simple one... solid at the back and efficient on the break. The one time it doesn't go to plan and all hell breaks loose. If we score any of the numerous breakaways, we win comfortably, etc. We did exactly the same thing on numerous occasions and apart from today, it's worked pretty well.

Yep. But it wasn't a reflection on us playing great football and carving them open.

If we take one of those chances it papers over the cracks of a poor second half performance.

We lacked control and composure.

Best team, biggest budget and the best coach ever according to many has just lost four games in a row.

We are 15 games into a season with the youngest team being lead by a novice coach working in a new country for the first time in his three year senior career in his second language!

No team has control and composure for 100% of the time, what teams used to the expectation do is find a way to kill games off with possession or goals in key moments.

We aren’t there yet. We are 15 games in.

I’m as disappointed as anyone that we haven’t picked up more points over the last three games but if you can’t see the positives and potential then you really can’t be helped.

We are still top of the league you know? Most goals scored, most points and most wins.

We aren't good enough to easily close out or control games against good sides because we don't have the experience in the right parts of the pitch yet. Just keep playing to our attacking strengths while these young lads develop and see where that takes us. Great season so far overall and lots to look forward to.

Should have went for the throat and went three or four up, sitting back and inviting pressure is a risky business that often comes back to haunt you!

The QPR and Preston draws would have been acceptable with three points today, as it is 3 points from three games against relegation fodder is a terrible return.

The positives today are the goals. The goal from Cirkin is one of the best I've seen from us at at SOL, certainly be in my top 10. We had some good combinations first half but off the ball struggled to press them and get control of the game.

We didn't play well at all second half, were very much under the cosh and Coventry deserved the equaliser. They had us hemmed in. Fatigue, mentality, a lack of options from the bench, missing jobe. People can speculate on the reasons but we'd all agree it was well below par. There was a few openings on the break that we didn't make the most, some poor decision making and execution of final passes.
Overall a point a fair result against a team that I'd expect to climb the league.

Plenty to be positive about from the season so far though, tremendous points return! Young team, we are adaptable, we've found many different ways to pick up points. That's credit to Regis.
We were excellent first half. 2nd half dreadful. We are a soft touch
Disagree we were excellent first half. Agree we were dreadful second half. Our defensive record and amount of clean sheets in the 15 games suggests we aren't a soft touch.

We don’t like being ‘roughed up or in our faces’ . I thought maybe the luton game suggested we had turned a corner but Plymouth, preston, QPR, 2nd half today we have barely made a tackle. We’re excellent in possession but out of possession poor at times. Central midfield go missing

Samed is a huge miss. He looks like a physical, tenacious, player and a proper defensive midfielder. With his pedigree and the level he's played at, I think he should be very strong for the championship. Exactly what we need, which makes his injury all the more frustrating.
