*~*~* Preston v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Two things concern me

1. You judge a manager when things are going bad not good, otherwise Steve Bruce would be world class. That team needed changing far earlier than it happened. You bring Mayenda on for game time when 2-0 up, not chasing the game. Also annoyed Tommy didn't get a chance in his actual position.

2. The last two performances have been Dodds like, and every time the camera went to the bench he was gobbing off to everyone. I honestly hope he is not gaining influence on match day team decisions.

How long have people been watching football on here .Surely everybody knows teams go through an off patch during the season .Two nil nil draws isn’t a crisis frustrating yes but it’s a long long season.Remember where we were not to long ago .
Do you remember the start of last season and what happened ?

We don’t have Amad this season to bail us out with worldies

Neil getting stick again and can’t judge because I haven’t seen the stream.
You would have thought though playing the role as the defensive midfielder protecting the back four and nine clean sheets in 14 games, there must be something he’s doing right.
Bore off

Points away are never to be sniffed at, but that was tough viewing.

As Regis said in the presser , we bring players into the side to assess what they can do and to see where they need to improve. On that evidence, if Watson can get some defensive positional sense he could be a big asset, on the flip side Connolly reminds me of an early Rusyn. Always on the fringe of the game, he really needs to offer more, either in behind or getting involved in the buildup.

Watson needs to bulk up pronto. He was bullied tonight.

He give the ball away time and time again, shooting was shite. At one point he just left the ball whilst in possession, it was bizarre, it was like his brain stopped for a second and everything else carried on.

Sick of him skying shots, it's energy sapping.
