Tore a thigh muscle in the warm up v Boro in August then tore Achilles at Fulham the following January. Both non-contact injuries. Wonder if he was clattered today ?

I think unless you are Southampton it’s a good deal all round really. Stewart got his pay day all best of luck getting that plus the club got a decent fee all things considered. It’s a shame for the lad, but it unfortunately happens. I think he is pretty much done now at the top level nd he’s hardly got started.

The way it's gone the last few years, RS is probably done at any level.

Injury upon injury, and more often than not they're long term injuries.

Absolute shame for him, only consolation being he's financially secure, although that's of little comfort to him right now.
