I know I do listing as well but I didn't realise that there was a battle of the bands final tomorrow. Thankfully I now do and will be there Lounge Code sounded great on Spark recently

Sunderland artist Frank Styles

Starting prep on a Sunderland Music wall this week It's the building on the corner of Villiers and Coronation St in Sunniside.

The walls will showcase Sunderland Bands and Musicians. If you want to get involved, speak up. It's going to be a mashup of paintings, paste ups and stencils.

I was. All the bands were good. Slate Label were slick, tight and that voice obviously. However my vote went to The Monday Club because they played passionate songs I could relate to. I liked Slate Label, I loved the Monday Club.

I did however leave before Divine Image (last year's winner) finished playing so I missed the result! But I am getting on a bit so that 's my excuse. I promise I have never done it at a football match. I'll get the result today or wait till the Bunker show on Saturday.
