Got a standing ticket for Leeds via See tickets. Couldn't be arsed with Newcastle on a Friday night as it's like Shaun of the Dead but with the extras all in Newcastle shirts.

Plus MBV, Blur and Dinosaur Jr as I recall. Rotating headliners. Still have the CD ep somewhere. Not sure when WBIR last held a music show. Saw The Jam and Stone Roses there. Better than Newcastle Arena, but not much.

Yeah, what a line up it was. I saw quite a few bands there but never attended a more credible night than that. I remember I saw Erasure, Deacon Blue, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and Oasis there.

Just drove past it yesterday on the way to the Playhouse - was reminiscing about those gigs I went to. Great times.
 
The gigs at the ice rink, did it absolutely honk?

Just asking as the last few times I’ve been for a match or to skate the honk of sweat from the changing rooms was ridiculous.
